Week 2 Antics

It's not groundhogs day, but never the less- we're talking about shadows. The WhiteShadow that is. Coming through with an impressive First Place Gauntlet Finish, this player really bounced back from last week, where he was clearly struggling to get anything going, and showed us all why he's the most feared player in this seasons league. After his stunning performance, The WhiteShadow had a few words to say to the other competitors. In a very official interview with the OCC Blog, the WhiteShadow said, "I won?" Precise and to the point, which is exactly how he plays his croquet.

Lets take a look at the ©Ke$ha Leaderboard for Week 2!!

1. WhiteShadow
2. Hugh Jeffner
3. LatinoHeat
4. Bagger Vance
5. Puffy Prince*

Week 1 Provides Plenty of Drama

Coming into the season, there was plenty of hype surrounding the sophomore season of the OCC. There were talks of upsets, WhiteShadows, and a long lost Matt Duke. However it was another player that "heated" up the course. LatinoHeat that is. With superb accuracy and phenomenal power, he stole the hearts of croquet lovers everywhere, while taking home the first place prize.

OCC twenty-ten

2010 is upon us and a new season beckons. What does twenty-ten have in store for the OCC? To be sure, plenty of drama.

From time to time, we will be featuring a different OCC player on the blog.

Today we feature a player in doubt, questionable for the 2010 tour... arguably the fan favorite.

Puma Forrest has been through a lot in the past months, having been dropped by major sponsors AT&T and Accenture due to his infidelities and shaky family life.

Will Puma bounce back at some point during the 2010 tour? He has said he plans on returning to the game, and hasn't ruled out competing in 2010... However it's hard to imagine him being the same destructive force that he once was, what without all the cheating and free sex.

This may just be the season for players such as Shooter Mcgavin to pull off a few upsets, as without Puma in the Field, competition is few and far between...
